I am pursuing a career in computer programming.
I would like to pursue this career because I am very interested in computers and have lots of knowledge about them. Computer programming has always been interesting for me because it I find it amazing want people can create through coding. There are many different coding languages such as C++, Java, Visual Basic and .Net. Everything on computers has been created through coding and learning how to will open a lot of career path ways. I can go into many different types of industries such as the gaming industry or software developing.

Computer Engineering
Another career path I am interested in is computer engineering.
I would like to purse this a career in computer engingeering because I am interested in computers and already have a good understanding of the hardware and electrical components. When studying computer engineering you learn about electronic engineering, software design and hardware-software integration. By learning these things it also opens up more options for you if you decide to focus on a certain one. As a computer engineer you write software and firmware, design chips and analog controllers and also design operating systems.
Computer engineers make $48 000 to $123 000 a year depending on education and industry.
